It doesn\u2019t have the indestructible knights but instead, it has you jump up to the top of a ruined caste\/fort\/shrine while taking snipers and small boops or mines (there are 2 versions of this challenge if you wipe with the boops it gets slightly easier, as the boops are changed into mines.), shoot at you.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Complete_Shattered_Ruins_Ascendant_Challenge\"><\/span><strong>How to Complete Shattered Ruins Ascendant Challenge&nbsp;<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To start this challenge, you head spawn in the Dreaming City landing zone and lead to the NPC vendor, Petra Venj. Petra could be in either of the zones of the map, as the Dreaming City is on a three-week rotation. When you pick up the bounty for the challenge, read the small cryptic blurb from <a href=\"https:\/\/omggamer.com\/blog\/destiny-2-toland-location-this-week-who-is-toland\/\" data-lasso-id=\"4573\">Toland<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30548\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30548\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/omggamer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Shattered-Ruins-D2-Online.jpeg\" data-lasso-id=\"4574\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30548 size-full\" title=\"Shattered-Ruins-D2-Online\" src=\"https:\/\/omggamer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Shattered-Ruins-D2-Online.jpeg\" alt=\"Shattered-Ruins-D2-Online\" width=\"800\" height=\"423\"><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30548\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Shattered-Ruins-D2-Online<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Shattered Ruins\u2019 blurb reads as follows:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201cClimb the bones and you will find your ruin.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The only relation to any bones in the Dreaming City is the Spine of Keres, so head towards that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> You will need a tincture of queensfoil whose steps are the same as mentioned in the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/omggamer.com\/blog\/forfeit-shrine-ascendant-challenge-gardens-of-esila\/\" data-lasso-id=\"4575\">Forfeit Shrine Ascendant Challenge<\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">see the ascendant portals, so use one from your inventory. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you don\u2019t have it in your inventory, in Harbinger\u2019s Seclude at the bottom part of the building you find two ahamkara skulls. The one called Huginn sells them for 50 baryon boughs a pop. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You could stack up on 5, so there&#8217;s a suggestion that buying as many as you can afford. It\u2019s a good idea to bring a sniper or another long-range weapon because there are a lot of annoying snipers, which you will need to get rid of as fast as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30550\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30550\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/omggamer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Shattered-Ruins-Ascendant-Challenge-guide-images.jpeg\" data-lasso-id=\"4576\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30550 size-full\" title=\"Shattered-Ruins-Ascendant-Challenge-guide-images\" src=\"https:\/\/omggamer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Shattered-Ruins-Ascendant-Challenge-guide-images.jpeg\" alt=\"Shattered-Ruins-Ascendant-Challenge-guide-images\" width=\"800\" height=\"425\"><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30550\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Shattered-Ruins-Ascendant-Challenge-guide-images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After you drank the <a href=\"https:\/\/omggamer.com\/blog\/destiny-2-tincture-of-queensfoil-where-how-to-use\/\" data-lasso-id=\"4577\">tincture of queensfoil<\/a>, you have to go all the way to the other end of the Spine of Keres where you originally came into the Dreaming City. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Head towards the observatory where you give your offering to the oracle. As soon as you reach the bridge leading to the entrance, turn right and you can see the glimmering outline of a platform below you. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jump on it and then the other, and the other. Jump on the pathway heading towards the circle with the mobs, then onto the rock opposite you. Then onto the next rock. On top of this, you can see your portal in the distance. Jump through it, and you are in the playlist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Checkout: <a href=\"https:\/\/omggamer.com\/blog\/ascendant-challenge-this-week\/\" data-lasso-id=\"4578\">Ascendant Challenge This Week<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The objective is to reach the top of the ruined castle or whatever so go to the middle platform and up the stairs. Jump on the nest platform, then the one on your left. From that to the big column in the middle and then turn 180 degrees and jump at the staircase behind you. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then essentially you can run contraclockwise or clockwise jumping onto the platform&#8217;s front of you. In the video, Run clockwise which is the harder route, and less obvious. Watch out for the hobgoblins and kill them as soon as you see them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> You will have to jump on top of the statue\u2019s head standing at 1 o\u2019clock in reference to the entrance. From there, you jump onto the thin platform and the circular platform at the top. In the middle, a taken phalanx will spawn with several thralls. Kill those and the challenge is done. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are looking for the eggs and the lore, the lore is on the statue\u2019s hand, which you are not using to get on top of the structure, and there an is egg right across the top of the head of the statue you use to get up, to your right.
