Halo Infinite Rumors
A Halo Infinite multiplayer rumored leak points to a battle royale mode that will be arriving in the game. The games multiplayer was recently confirmed to be a freelancer that worked on Halo Infinite designing the UI for the free-to-play multiplayer mode battle pass, aptly named the Spartan Pass.

Now, as shown on the Japanese version of Xbox’s Halo Infinite page, fans are thinking that the game’s multiplayer will highlight a battle royale mode. This can be a result of Japanese-to-English translation which means that it could be a mistake on either end of the translation. However, it could be developer 343 Industries retracting an earlier statement, when it declared that “the only BR we’re interested in is the Battle Rifle.” When translated, the page displays “Battle Royal shooting” as its genre section. Furthermore, the rumor has grown via a Reddit post by JJAB91. However, 343 Industries, Xbox Game Studios, and Microsoft have not given any explanations.
While this error may simply be a misunderstanding, some fans have already made up their mind that Halo Infinite will feature a Battle Royale mode. Nevertheless, back in April 2019 in reply to rumors, 343 Industries developer Frank O’Connor said that Halo Infinite would not release with a Battle Royale mode.

Lately, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launched a standalone Battle Royale mode – Warzone, 5 months later the release of the game. So here, developer O’Connor’s remarks do not significantly deny the chance of a Battle Royale mode for Halo, even if it is after release.
