Overwatch Tier List Season 36
The Overwatch tier list covers the best DPS heroes in the game. Most Overwatch heroes are in the DPS category. It can be hard to keep up with which ones are the best at any given moment since heroes change regularly. This is our tier list ranking all of the DPS heroes in Overwatch Competitive Season 36.
S Tier | A Tier | B Tier | C Tier |
---|---|---|---|
Mei | Torbjorn | Reaper | Pharah |
Doomfist | McCree | Sombra | Junkrat |
Echo | Tracer | Soldier 76 |
|
Hanzo | Genji |
||
Ashe | Symmetra | ||
Widowmaker |
S Tier
These S Tier heroes carry a solid knock. They are not only challenging to deal with one on one but can be disappointing to fight even when they’re more in number. The DPS heroes up here are capable to hold their own in any fight. There is a reason why players rejoice when Mei would get banned.
- Mei
- Doomfist
- Echo
A Tier
The A tier heroes of Season 36 are more team players than the S tier. Torbjorn’s turret adds constant destruction that is helpful for breaking barriers, and McCree is capable to balance his time between standing behind a shield and prowling around to the enemy team to get picks and ult.
- Torbjorn
- McCree

B Tier
All of the snipers and the more skilled limbers are placed in the B tier. They are oftentimes a bit too locational to make it into A tier, but when they are performing quite well, they can prove to be unstoppable.
- Reaper
- Sombra
- Tracer
- Hanzo
- Ashe
- Widowmaker
C Tier
C tier is packed with heroes that can head to their own team’s defeat. Both Junkrat and Pharah can do plenty of harm, but they can also charge an enemy Zarya and disappoint to kill their opponents. Symmetra is essentially beneficial because of her turrets and teleporter and is not particularly very useful when they are on cooldown.
- Pharah
- Junkrat
- Soldier 76
- Genji
- Symmetra
The Rest
Bastion is at the foot of the barrel this Season because he is not so difficult to deal with. Although Bastion changes are often hurled around, the Omnic, however, is not a valuable DPS hero. But Jeff Kaplan appears to be attending because he said in a Developer Update, “I know many of you are just dying to see more Bastion in your matches.”
- Bastion
