World of Warcraft (2004)

World of Warcraft (WoW) is the most popular Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG). It was first released in 2004 by Blizzard Entertainment. In the Warcraft fantasy universe, it is the fourth game released set. However, this version of the game is not an expansion, it is the “game base”. Therefore in this version, there are all the necessary components to play the game. The game has a clear and clean interface.

WoW takes place within the world of Azeroth, nearly four years after the events at the conclusion of Blizzard’s, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Players get to choose a character avatar of their choice after paying a subscription to explore the landscape, fight monsters, and complete quests. The game has many characters and it has a multiplayer game mode.

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade was released on January 16, 2007. This starts with The Burning Crusade. It is the first expansion set for the (MMORPG) World of Warcraft. Two new characters were added to World of Warcraft in The Burning Crusade- the Draenei of the Alliance and the Blood Elves of the Horde. Moreover, a whole new planet called Outland was released. Outland had dungeons, raids, quests, creatures, zones, and cities.

Eye of the Storm was introduced with two brackets, a new battleground, in Player versus Player. You must see two new races in this expansion- the Dranei for the Alliance and the Blood Elves for the Horde. The Draenei, formerly called the Eredar, holds an extensive history. They can be played like warriors, priests, shamans, paladins, rogues, and mages. The Blood Elves are original High Elves that have been evacuated from the Alliance.

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (2008)

To enter through Northrend, players are required to reach at least level 68. The level cap for the expansion is 80. Moreover, the Death Knight, the first hero class was introduced, which starts at level 55.

Five new raids and ten new dungeons have been added. There are two new playable races, the Worgen for the Alliance and Goblins for the Horde. The story of the expansion revolves around the return of the evil dragon, Deathwing the Destroyer.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria was launched on September 25, 2012. The level cap in Mists of Pandaria has raised from 85 to 90. This expansion introduced a new character class, the monk, as well as a new playable race, the Pandaren.

The vanity pet system was improved and a pet battle system was included. Challenge Modes were added for dungeons and scenarios were introduced.

After the death of Archimonde in Hellfire Citadel in a parallel universe Draenor, the orc warlock Gul’dan was transported to the main timeline Azeroth. Gul’dan successfully steals the body of Illidan Stormrage. He travels to the nearby Tomb of Sargeras and opens a massive portal, thereby allowing the Burning Legion to invade Azeroth.

In the beginning, there will be ten dungeons along with 8.0 with Mythic Plus versions and the first raid, Uldir. Battle for Azeroth has fewer class changes as compared to the Legion.
