World of Warcraft (2004)
World of Warcraft (WoW) is the most popular Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG). It was first released in 2004 by Blizzard Entertainment. In the Warcraft fantasy universe, it is the fourth game released set. However, this version of the game is not an expansion but it is the “game base”. WoW takes place within the world of Azeroth, nearly four years after the events at the conclusion of Blizzard’s, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.
