Curse of Osiris
Curse of Osiris is the first (DLC) expansion pack for Destiny 2. It was released on December 5, 2017. The plot of Curse of Osiris is based on Mercury and shows the Guardian’s attempts to save Osiris from the Vex to prevent a gloomy future. The expansion’s story revolves around the relationship between Osiris and his disciple, Ikora Rey.

Osiris returns after years of exile and contacts his former student, Ikora Rey. He finds the Vex from both past and future timelines are gathering on Mercury. Despite Ikora’s hesitation to believe Osiris, she asks the Guardian to find him and discover whether he can be trusted to count as an ally in the fight. The Vex has converted an area on Mercury into the Infinite Forest, an implicit simulation of the galaxy where the Vex uses their plans to bring into reality. The forest is commanded by Panoptes, Infinite Mind.
