Redditor TheTruthTeller1985 posted that according to two anonymous individuals who are a former part of Hangar 13 developers and journalists they revealed that Mafia 4 is currently in progress and will be released anytime soon. The publisher of 2K games has also recently given a hint that they are working on a couple of big sequels on some of their most memorable game series. 

They specifically stated that Hangar 13 started “prototyping” the game Mafia 4 right after the final DLC for the launching of Mafia 3. Although the progress of the project was stalled for almost a year due to some “internal struggles” as they defined it, it has been now claimed that they have continued the progress for nearly 9 months. This is to say that fans of the game series could expect the Mafia 4 Release Date at the start of 2024.

Mafia 4 for PlayStation (PS4 & PS5)

The success of each series of the game led the developer and publisher of Mafia to continuously work on the game in return for praise and love from the fans. Though the game was first introduced as a PC game only, this did not stop there as the game can be accessible on many platforms such as PlayStation.

Mafia 4 Rumors 

It has been rumored that Mafia 4 will be much larger scale compared to the previous game series. It will take place over a decade so this is a larger hint that players can expect a change of environment in the game. Sounds exciting right?

It was rumored also that the game will heavily be focused on “empire building”, allowing players to buy land and build casinos. Last but not least, the storytelling is alleged to be based on the present, unlike the flashback storytelling in Mafia 3.
